Brake caliper pissing fluid out

Just connected my new brake calipers up with braided hoses, when i top up the fluid and attempt to bleed it through, it is pouring out of the drivers side caliper. Theres a threaded hole that its coming from neer the bottom of the caliper, should there be something in there?? They are new calipers.

Ill get photos im just waiting for camera to charge.

could it be the bleed nipple? and youve got them on upside down (on the wrong sides)?

are they alloy 4 pots? as i think some of them (kad?) come with bleed nipples on top and bottom (theyre not handed), maybe its missing some?

ahhh thats whats missing then. On the rear subframe, are they nipples that screw into the side of the radius arm thats just under the rear wheel arch at the front do they look the same as those bleed nipples?

Thats what must be missing then two of them.

think your confusing grease nipples with bleed nipples feebs!

I honestly would have thought your brakes would have come with them?? get in touch with the supplier of the brakes and kick up a fuss, they might send you some free, or at least let you know which ones you need.

you could try some nipples out of the old callipers, see if theyre the same, but only if the threads are in good nick, if the new calipers are alloy ones, be ultra careful not to strip the thread, as it will be steel going into alloy.

Yes, calipers are upside down. The bleed nipple needs to be upwards to allow the air to escape.

i need some bleed nipples for mine too, does anyone know if the metro 4 pots and mini 2 pots have the same thread so when jimmy orders his he can get mine at the same time?

i believe they are different

Mini 2 pot are usually 3/8UNF if my memory serves me correctly?

Metro 4 pot are some bastard horrible thread like M7..........

Danny ive just taken the bleed nipple of the metro (k series tho) and its wrong thread for mine, so try them in yours if you want. They arnt that old by the looks of them i think the metro had new calipers in the reciepts.
