At the show last weekend there were a couple of stalls selling these in vastly different qualities. I know these have been produced by minisport and would appear to me that they are the same as the ones available at the show for £50 a pair, half that of minisport? I bought these and i do have to say, they look fine and are linered with some sort of iron/steel band. I'll run them up in the lathe later on and see how true they are.

The other sort available were for sale for £35 a pair and looked shocking quality. The casting was rough, they were half the weight of the others and werent linered. The spacing of the fins was completely different, much further appart, and seemed a bit too cheap overall. If they had been linered, which they wernt, maybe i'd have been more convinced.

Standard items are £20 a pair, so £50 for some slightly better ones, possibly slightly lighter has gotta be bargain? For someone who needs new ones? Right? *surprised*

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

watch your fingers, the ones i bought had some VERY sharp flashing around the fins, i badly slit my finger on one.

thos elook exactly like the minisport pukker ones (obviously without the brandname around the edge). I wouldnt be surprised if they came out of the same factory.

They look identical to the ones I bought recently from Minispares for nearly £100 for the pair.

The genuine ones say "MINISPORT SUPERFINS" between the fins.

You will only know if they are any good if they are still stopping you in 10 years time!!!!

they look similar spacing and casting layout as the genuine minifins i have got. mine were 50 squid used so they arent a bad price really.

I should imagine that the ones with no liners would wear out amazingly fast....

They sound like very poor quality items.

Yours however look super...

the chap selling the un-linered ones said he had them on his mini and they were very 'grippy'. I belive him too, i also think they'd be very 'weary'. Was concidering getting them linered till i saw the stand 4 down selling the same thing, but better and linered, for 15 quid more.
