i am in theprocess of building my turbo and i am only waiting to source the right size turbo for the job.......

my problem is this.:
i will have to fabricatemy own exhaust manifold and plenum

does anyone have any tips or pictures i could look at i need some ideas

and was the original turbo held uponlyby the manifold or where ther other brakets supporting it. i know that the T3 can be quite heavy so if there were no other brakets wouldnt this put a bit of a strain on the manifold.

cheers

Forgotten more than most ever know

some ideas at www.geocities.com/jharkola and follow the mini turbo and new carb links.

Turbo is suspended by the manifold only so thin wall tubing will not last long. The plenum is fastened with 2 bolts just like a n/a air filter elbow.
