hello, just wondering what multipoint electrical connectors people use for disconnecting lights etc when using a flip front, i saw some people use trailer sockets but these are a little bit big i think, cheers gav |

loads of different things. look in maplins etc. the better ones are like you get on sensors that are sealed. you can get them with numerous wires.

They do a 9 or 11 way disco plug in maplins which is pretty good

trailor plug and socket for me too. jsut bought a trailor "extension" this gave me a plug, socket and a decent legnth of wire :) turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

I'm just not keen on the trailer plug for its size.

cheers guys, with the trailer wire extensions the two ends always seem to be the same ie male/male do they do a female/female so i can buy both and make one for each side? |

i'd just fit one on the bulkhead where that is, then get a male male and chop one end off, then hard wire that end into your lights |

sorry dont get you, where what is? if i hardwire a male end into the lights then surely it needs to connect to a female end lol. |

mines was a male-female extension, just cabletied one end to my subframe, not particularly neat, but workable.
