who can help, the budget for ems is about 500,

I use emerald and can't fault it, but Megasquirt does everything you want. I don't think you'll have any problems with injection on a k head, it's pretty stright foward.

Yep squirt all the way. You will get change from £500 if you are willing to make all the bits you can.

thanks for the inputs,
I like a lot megasquirt plylosopphie and capaciity but I'm still not decided, as I found a complete emerald for 400 .. and it work bloody well on a supercharged I built last year.certainly some more nights will will help to sort the solution ,
Agree with Jim it's very easy to inject the bimi , I get a complete induction from a k1200 rs and it'll help to sort some nice figures, about sharing, I'll make some pics,... wait a little i'm about to sort some nice arrow rods to finish the bottom end, they'll also take some nice motorbike pistons I think it'll end in Jun;
cheers

yes , I would like to buid an engine capable of beating my ex turbos, mainly because I'm using my mini every days, and each time I've tried to make something above 10 psi, the gearbox , diff and idles need to be replaced by s/c gears,this then making to much noise and catch police attention .........the stock gearbox simply can't live with turbo torque curves.
My secound mini usage is week end racing, en an other problem is that a good 1380 with 300 cam and good cyl head,is suffisant to keep my mini at distance, mainly because I loose traction each time we have to sort out of a turn, the big torque is making tires to loose grip, even with avon acb 10 13 inchers, which are fantastic. the next part which made trubles is the clutch, with road tires it never gave sign of fatigue, but when you are using good racing tires, it can't stand with half a day of racing, I haven't tried the double grey diaph, but I already had problems with crank side trust washers and grey one.......
A little poem, for all of these reasons, I prefer a roady turbo with about 120 bhp which are enough for a very fast road mini,and also keep quasi bullet proof reliability if well built.
and I'll try to sort 160 bhp from my bimi headed, this power with the softer torque curve will remaid torque pbs.
the specs will be: full moded 83.5 crank( possibly billet ), arrow rods (500g), kawa 1000 rx pistons( 272 g complete with wrist pin),bimi head , k12 throttles ( larger than k1 ones),
The main problem was to define stroke/bore ratio( and for this I stopped with headakesand decided to enquiry about what are doing kad's, and do the same).
cheers
