i am with quite a bit of regret taking the red 30 to newquay and putting up for sale

ive owned it for 4 years and it has been 100% reliable and been really good fun

anyway it has a very sweet mg engine that has proven to the local chavs an many occations that minis are better than saxo's at the lights lol, car is all round very very solid but does have 2 or 3 patches in it, recent new A panel, 12 months tax and 4 months rent, new calipers shoes pads cylinders about 2k ago, replaced balljoints osf for last mot, brand new full maniflow system and brand new carpet set, only real bad part is the paint the car is several different shades of the original coulour and theres a small amout of rust coming though by the windscreen and rear window, it still has the original half leather but has walnut dash and steering wheel

£1100 fair or to much?
i can post up a pic if you want

EDIT: forgot to say put new gas shox onand had engine tuned for last mot

We paid £450 for ours but it needed a full front end rebuild and respray. It has cost us about £1000 to get it on the road (nearly there)

£1100 is about right for a good condition road worthy 30.

There is one on ebay at the moment with a reserve of £3k!!

For what it's worth, I think that the 30 is the best looking mini made by Rover.

Sound a bit cheap to me.

As usual put it up for a couple of hundred more than you want then when you haggle you get what you want and so does the buyer.

Mine mini is older then yours and i paid 1k for it. it needed a new door and a complete new interior. and i blew the headgasket on the way home.

before i took it off the road (6 weeks ago) some bloke offered me £1600 for it (in a car park??)

way cheap, but a pic would help. If it genuinely solid i'd be looking at closer to 1500

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

I bought my mini when it was 3 years old and it cost me £2700 in 1993. Now I would like to see atleast £1500 for it and it sound similar condition.

Sounds pretty fair to me. I paid £600 for my 30 and it's still 998 and pretty ratty. The market for minis is so strong right now that if you put it up for £1500 and hold on long enough you'll get it. Esp as it has the MG lump in it, good selling point. :)

Are you driving it down or trailoring it?
