Hello, i know joeybaby asked a similar question a while back but i really have no idea what i should do for my final project, i got a letter the other day saying my final choice has to be in by friday next week even though it is for next year! like i wont change my mind! just wondering if you guys had any ideas of anything i can put forward. I'm doing a motorsport technology degree btw and here are some of the topics:
aerodynamics, thermofluids, dynamics and condition monitoring, ops management and logistics, design manufacturing, materials, structures, systems instrumentation and control.

How about a CFD model of the metro plenum. Or TD new manifold design.

Do you have access to CAD and CFD software?

Well, you could do a CFD model of the plenum to see how and why it works so well.

Then you could develop and model an alternative design based on ally plate fabrication so we could get some made.

With few original plenums left, we need an alternative source.

Whenever a plenum comes up on ebay, they sell for around £40! Mind you I think that it is due to some of our fellow members stockpiling!
