Hi,

I bought some 8mm cooper piping to install my fuel lines, but I am having great difficulty working this in around the subframes. Its impossible!! *frown*

Can I get away with just running the cooper pipes along the length of the floor and not bother trying to work it in around the subframes like the orignal smaller piping. And then just use some standard rubber fuel hose for the rest, will the mot like the idea of rubber hose rubbing against the subbies? Should i use braided hose instead for this section?

Or, would it be best to fire the cooper piping out the window and run braided fuel lines inside the car?

Cheers,

Paul.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

I used rubber hose from front to back. Proper reinforced fuel hose mind. Its fine for MOT's. Just make sure its well clipped and not the lowest thing on the car. Much easier than copper, i will be doing proper solid hosing though on the new project as im working from a bare shell up so its easy enough.

I use a steel pipe all along the floor, and a rubber hose up the toe-board and to the tank/pump. Works for me!
