So, do you mean i get oil from the oil pressure guage outlet , but i need a bigger adaptor.

If i use the oil pressure guage outlet as a source for the turbo lubrication, then where do i connect my oil pressure guage line to?

What about the turbo return oil, where is the best place to connect... without drilling a return hole in the gear box housing.

thank you in advance

You can't runa turbo with the mechanical pump. They will only supply 3 to 4 psi, and you'll need 10 as a minimum.

I am using the mechanical fuel pump as a head pressure pump, then i will use an electrical fuel pump as a boost pump, on demand... I am setting up a draw through turbo system, instead of a blow through system. Cause i don't have access to find a seal carburetor, sure i can build a seal box around my cabs, but seems like lots of work, because I am running twin 1.25 SU.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

also a mechanical pump doesnt supply that much fuel. any half decent turbo will suck it dry in no time. why not just install one pump and be done with it?

thank you all for helping me out on the turbo lubrication.

My engine is 1071 with a compression ration of 9:1.... Currently i am setting up a Garrett T03 Turbo original from a Lebaron 2.2.

The turbo is a little bit big in physical size, i have to fit it on the side on top of the clutch area.. Do you guys think this turbo is too big for this engine?? Or do i have to reduce down the compression ratio by running the turbo at higher boost. I dont know what to do?

thank you in advance

a t3 has a lot of different trim specs. some far too large, some just right. i am guessing though that the one you have is too large.

to reduce compression ratio is achieved by either increasing piston dish or modifying the chambers in the head. not sure what your on about by running higher boost?

a T3 does fit with a bulkhead box, its what the majority of users on this site fit.

i suggest you do some reading on this site as i feel your missing a few basics which may end in disaster *smiley*

there's loads of useful info on here so just do a bit of digging using the search function or try the beginners section to start with. *smiley*

I don't know what a lebaron is. One thing is for sure, at 2.2litres, it will be wayyyyyy too large for a humble A-series. ESPECIALLY a mere 1071cc.

Re-think what you really want. A good few small turbo's appear on Ebay USA; IHI units, Garrett T2's from Dodge Omni's, etc... Maybe even consider a BRAND NEW GT-series unit from Garrett? Either way; You need to be moving that turbo on and looking elsewhere.

Don't try and 're-invent' the wheel regarding the turbo fuelling. HS carbs will be very difficult (but not impossible) to setup for blowthru. THEN you have the complication of twins. THEN you have your (don't take this the wrong way) inexperience. All of these will fight you every step of the way.
Heed the advice of the guys on here; there is a reason things are done the way they're done... *wink*
