Out of interest what do you guys consider to be a fair price for a Plenum chamber at the moment? I've go a spare one which I'm looking to get ride of, but I'm not sure how much it is worth.

I need to crack on and make a batch. I've been waiting for my Tax returns to come to buy a Tig - but i think i'll farm the job out to a colleauge who's already set up for doing it...

Not money in my pocket - but sorts these silly prices out at least....

i used some that were originally holding on the diff casing, the 7/16ths long ones, but you need to cut them down slightly otherwise you will be tightening them up for 20mins as you can only get in 8th of a turn

If someone would be good enough to measure one of these blasted things up and post the details on here, or pm them to me, I'll make a batch up, as I need one myself.

Christ almighty it's a bloody box with a few strategically placed holes. It won't take a watchmaker to build one.

MG Sports and Racing were selling them off for £3 a couple of years ago. They had loads of unused stock left over from Metro Turbo Challenge racing. I only bought one with some other parts (a brand new turbo for £190 being one of them*tongue* ). I wish I had bought a box full *crying*.

If you were to fabricate a plenum (with IC & DV take offs), would it not be worth making it a mirror image of the rover item? This way you avoid a tight bend in the IC pipe just before the plenum (all the IC installs I've seen have a 90 degree been right by the plenum) and it would allow the option of fitting a recirculating DV if you wanted.

I apperchiate that a lot of you know more about turboed minis than I do and there may well be good reasons for not doing this, but it makes sense to my little sparky brain.
