did anyone watch it?

they were going around with there new system that shows any car with no MOT, TAX, insurance, owner and pulling them over.

with the new rules if the cops think that the car shouldn't be on the road ie driver has no insurance. then they take the car away.

this costs £105 to recover and £14 a day for every day after they have taken it for up to 2 weeks (£301 max). Then if the car hasnt been collected they crush it lol

or if the owners says its ok then they crush it straight away.

you also still get the usual fines, points etc......

i used to always drive car to MOT's with no insurance, and pick (buy them) them up with No tax, MOT or insurance. Sod doing that any more.....

This was in Pompy, and since they started they have crushed 1100 cars LOL

could be wrong, but if u get hit by an uninsured driver, you have no-one to claim against so end up having to foot the bill? Unless i presume you take them to court.

This issue really pisses me off, I have a lot of cars and pay out a lot of money each year to keep them all insured properly, and the max fine if you get caught is £150!

What is the point of paying for insurance, I'd rather pay £150 each time they catch me....(I know that is not the full story, which is why I currently have 2 policies in my name and also am a nominated driver on a trade policy that covers me to drive any vehicle fully comp as long as I have the owners permission)
