italy - tuscany- massacarrara

Yesterday evening in Italy is the first day of summer, there was
23 C°, i'was very happy, but a problem, a new problem, stop
my happy: the gearbox is blocken in 3 speed!!! Is impossible
change speed, Who can it be? My metro turbo engine have
a Cooper gearbox, but untill today, i haven't problem.
Please help me.

Check the roll pins in the gear linkage, both at the gearbox link rod, and inside the selector mechanism beneath the gearlever.

I have had both of these fail before now.

The car now is at Autofficina Torre Rossa,
but do you think that the problem is that
i'haven't the original Turbo gearbox?
My gearbox is from a 1.3 cooper, is different
from metro turbo gear?

basicaly the same.
diff i think is different, turbos are 3.2to1

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas
