I quit working at 11ish and went in for a shower and went to bed. Couldn't sleep, so got up and did another hour in the garage (ah, the pleasures of a garage adjoined to the house)!!!

Anyways - I've finally got all my fuel lines in, and the injector tester finished. Just need some 1/4" UNC bolts (what a stupid size - only in America eh?) to mount my regulator to the frame and I can test the fuel system and do some testing!

As you can see it's using all the lines and everything as it'll be installed in the motor - much the more-representive way of doing things; At least for my instalation anyway!!!

I've got a late-model Volvo turbo injector in there at the moment, but i'll be testing the MPi injector first off... Find out what it'll flow, what it'll flow DOWN to, and what it'll flow UP to at elevated rail pressures...
I've got big hopes for the MPi one, much moreso than the volvo unit - but ultimatley I'll probably end up using my 'secret specification' injectors I've had put together *wink* (these will be tested last once i've benchmarked the others)...

Very nice Dave.

You should see what Dave Walker wrote about 5-port A-series injection in this months PPC. It was basically an article asking for people like you to tell him how to do it.

I'm interested to see the results.

Flux capacitor springs to mind. Make sure you stay below 88mph or who knows where you might end up!

Hey, Mouth!

That poxy blue spanner is needed for annodised fittings - and Jim had chavtastic overbraid, not pukka hose!*tongue*

So how come no-one has commented on the engine colour?*laughing*

it was not overbraid you cheaky sod!!

I don't believe for one minute thats dave's engine, I'm guessing that is a standard engine just for testing the injection. Dave would never have a red engine, or a ally rocker cover.

Having a red engine is like having a yellow ferrari. It's alright I guess; Just a bit gay that's all...
