I've always used AE mains with my motor - but thinking about trying these. Just need to clarify if they're the solid/grooved type though...

just looked at my box, they are indeed the a+ center tag half solid half groved mains.

interestingly that your moving towards vandervell? Most engine builders are going the other way due to piss poor consistancy of late. I've heard of numerous failures, particularly within the last 6 months.
