Now that the bodywork on my car is nearly finished it's finally time to turn my attention to the engine.

Thinking about using Morspeed, should be able to get it all done including parts and head for about £1000. I've already got pistons, camshaft, vernier pullies, clutch and gearbox. So it's just machining, bearings, arp bolts, oil pump and head.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get the engine machining done in the Nottingham/Sheffield/Rotherham area.

If you want somewhere local, I have used Rotherham Reboring in (suprise!) Rotherham for a few things. If you go that route though you will need to determine your spec yourself and instruct them what you want them to do for you.
