hi everyone ive been wanting a turbo a while now an decided to go for it. ive read a lot of posts on here and most have been helpful, cheers :)
few questions i was hopin to clarify tho, i have a choice in engines, both standard, one being a 998 and the other a 1098. i was hopin to use the 1098 but havent seen much mention of them for a turbo conversion but assume it be ok to use?

i'll be after any turbo related parts now so if anyone does have anything 'spare' for sale then by all means im open all ears. or eyes in this case! i keep checking ebay and a few other forums so im sure i'll picki something up.

last of all, do you really need a bulkhead box? i have a clubman but im not sure where that extra room is, is there enough clearence at the back so i wouldnt have to cut away?!

thanks guys/gals

Hello and welcome.

I can't see any reason why not to use the 1098. I have a feeling someone on this forum is building one actually.

If you use the Mirage manifold then you don't need a box, if you use the metro manifold you'll need a box.

Clubmans make it much easier to fit an intercooler though.

Good luck
