Urgently need to know the model number or numbers stamped on the turbo dizzy.

Please help asap.

Can anyone please verify if this is the correct type of distributor that I need:

Dizzy with ignition module on. Numbers on ign. module: 84896 -->3988
Numbers on Dizzy: AUU 1533 2003 --> 42661A /189

Just checked one of my dizzys - Module nos. 84193 A 2985
Dizzy nos. 41976B 3285.

This is totally different to yours..........???? Though i'm not certain this is a Turbo unit ?

I'll go and check the other dizzys i have, and get back to you.

This is from a normal MG Metro, as i've just removed it from the engine.

Thanks for helping mate.

I got my numbers from an article in the general chat section were someone had performed a number of tests on a mk 1 and mk2 dizzy. However, I am not sure if they are correct.

Would appreciate someone checking the dizzy on their engine.

Phil, could i get away with just fitting the std electronic ignition of a mg metro. I wold prefer to find a proper turbo type with the right curve though!

The above question has been asked a few times now.
Does anyone have the advance curve for the Turbo dizzy?

I am running a standard mini dizzy with points at the moment, and was hopeing to modify it once the engine is run in.
Would be nice to mod it myself though if I knew the standard curve.

One for the FAQ maybe if anyone knows!
