Will any T3 Garrett fit a mini or are there different versions.

There are different versions. For example, the Escort RS Turbo uses a T3 but this is different.

the main housing of each class of turbo ( T2/T25; T3 /T4, t04 etc...) share the same bearings , seals..;etc so a rebuilt kit for a Tb03 will be used by all the familly, as it only contain, the main housing rebuildable parts, if your wheels, wheels hsg are worn, then you'll need a core to have them.

The RS Turbo T3 has a bigger exh housing, other than that its idenitical.

If you get a rebuild from turbo technics and that turbo happened to need a new exh housing (they crack) then you end up with a RST one anyway as the metty parts are no longer availble.

Im having a bash at rebuilding a turbo ive got, doesnt appear to be bad so hopefully it should be ok. It didnt cost me anything so ive got nothing to loose!

untill you put it on the engine... the bladees fail and go into the inlet...
