hahaha know its not a mini but ive just got my camera working and thought i would show you the shed what i just bought for pennys!!!

haha

its only a 970cc so its a rubbish tow car, but it will do for lumping mini parts arround the next couple of weeks!!! haha

Also, the insurance is cheaper than the mini!

today im fibreglassing the rust holes (its full of rust holes!!!) theres a huge one in the rear quater!!! and then im going to filler them and hamerite the whole jeep!

The chassis seems rust free though and the engine runs really well (128000 miles 1litre lol!)

A lot of the offroad guys use them with the Vatara engine fitted for a bit of umph. They are very good offroad, but slow. I hated them when they came out and were a bit of a tart fassion item, but now they are kind of retro cool, especially covered in mud.

I'm an outed hater of 4x4's, (moslty the 4 litre tart trucks with leather and air con, quite like landrovers). but Ive seen a few of these with TDi VW engines in them overseas, and I've towed some hefty equipment out of ditches with them at work - very poplular in 3rd world countries and suprisingly good at towing as long as you aren't in a hurry!

oh! i love my rav4. dont love the fuel it uses tho. oh and the twats in government put road tax for 4x4s up a week after i bouht it*frown*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

I don't like 4x4's as a rule, however my Dad has an old Range Rover that gets used as a working tool for towing a trailer about, I've used it a bit myself and to be honest I can't think of much that would do the job better. Auto box makes manoeuvering easy, and its got LPG to save your wallet a bit.

This is only a 1litre and its still CRAP on fuel! so crap that it has to stay at home! haha

Theres a huge offroading site just up the road thats free to get on, so hoping to take it up there for a bit of fun, but a bit worried about having no rollcage on it so will take it really steady.

I modified it a bit today! Gave it a full recoat in hamerite and got rid of most of the nasty 80's trim! haha
