Does it matter which way up,as mine is mounted pipes at bottom and higher than the relief valve.Just wondering if it drains back out when car is stood resulting in no oil pressure whilst it fills back up after starting.

i think i had this prob on my min .took a long time for oil pressure ,now its lower than the block and so doesnt drain its much faster .robert.
