Cool! Hang on, your not going to just put that engine in a Metro are you and scrap the mini as revenge?! :)

It has been suggested to me *smiley* But I could never do that, it will be cared for as well as the Metro Turbos  It needs work doing but is in very good original condition, no major rust and only 21K and one elderly lady owner since it was 12 months old *smiley*

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

The elderly owner could well have been quite sprightly when she bought the car 14 years ago.

Why is it so hard to believe that they would have bought an ERA Turbo? It was a production Mini with a high price tag, and I doubt many youngsters were buying them.

Yes she was somewhat younger when she had it, only in her 60's *wink* Its been used around town and trips to the supermarket, hence the light impact marks on the bodykit. It still has the original tyres *surprised*
I think driving this she was indeed supergran *laughing*
Its not mint and does need some work but its the best one I had seen for the price, I have seen some with bad rust too. This one is pretty good with minor surface rust *happy*
