Does anyone know a definative method of identifying an "MPi" type pump from the "SPi" version.

I know that externally they look pretty much identical, is there a part number or some other way of checking?

I've got an MPi and a SPi unit down at my storage depot Tom.
How soon you need?

Is there any difference or is it just a ebay selling point?

I thought the mpi tank was slightly heavier than the spi.
Think the reason was the mpi one was foam filled.

Bit of sketchy info there
