main prob i have now is the car, mine looks pretty minor the damage to mine is on the hard part ... the osf corner, the bumpers bent the bumper support is bent, the foglight, the headlights smashed, indecators smashed and wings slightly bent, worst of all the car wont start hardly at all now and theres a strong smell of diesel, i have driven it home but can taste it and feel it in my skin its nasty

her car was hit on the soft part on the doors

The front end of a 405 is all bolt on mate, the entire front panel with fans the lot all just bolts off, so if you are planning to repair it with s/h bits should be possible.

Just sort out the diesel smell first of all, chances are it will just have bust a leak off pipe or maybe popped a line off somewhere.
Should be easy enough to spot anyway.

I am no expert on this, but if she admitted liability at the scene of the accident she is already stuffed to be honest.

As Pete says, get onto your insurance people and let them deal with it.

In the meantime, just have a quick check round your tyres etc to make sure they are all legal and that brake pads etc have enough meat on them, don't give them ANY quarter to screw you on.

Here's somthing else i learnt. For all the practicality of digital cameras, pictures taken on them are open to being challenged in courts but to the ability of them to be 'pshopped'.
I bought a 4-pack of disposable cameras a few months back for around £8 equivalent. I've got one in each of my vehicles now...

i used to work in a claim dept at a car insurance company. digital camera pictures are not ideal as turbo dave said. The damage on her car indicates that it was her fault also mention that she admitted liabilty at the scene of the accident. if the police where called she might have even got some points on her licence for something like driving without due care and attention.

at least you are ok though. and i hope it all turns out alright

top and bottom is you were driving along said road perfectly legally and another car came from a side road into your path into your path .noworries,

it happened to me a few years back ,i was at a give way cross roads and crept out and clipped a car coming from my right,
i ellaborated in my report to try throw some blame her way, untill my borker read my version and the map i drew,
she then asked who was on the main carraigway and who was at the give way, i said i was on the give way and the other car on the main carraigway,
she just laughed at me and told me i was stuffed, .lol.

you do seem a bit unlucky wolfie. id be careful on this one as they may put it down to your fault (im not saying it is) but if shes pulled out on you and youve hit her on the n/s then shes pulled right across the road and they might say should have seen her and had time to stop.

i dont mean to put even more of a downer on things and i honestly dont think its your fault just be prepared the laws an arse.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

never say you didnt see her, theyll do you for undue care and attention, youve got to say you saw her and did everything you could to stop in time, but it obviously wasnt enough.
