You can mod it to fit, i.e bend it. Or you can fit the later type servo breather which i believe is "kicked" to avoid the servo. Id just mod it to fit. Im going to be doing my timing cover by modding rather than spacing the fan.

Or cut it half way up the 'tube' with a hacksaw and use a short section of a metro top hose and a few jubilee clips to re-angle it... On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

ive had to do this on mine i cut it and rewelded it at a 45deg angle i did have pipe conecting it together but i thought id tidy it up i did actually rub through a brake pipe on the servo easy fix but very unsafe

late minis, 89ish on i think, have a kinked over filter to clear this. i have one on my 90 RSP. got it from DSN i think.
