you would need to cut it and reweld it, I would be very suprised if that was FIA approved. Not that it really matters, it's only pub talk for most people.

Looks to me more like a home made cage made for an autograss car, the giveaway is the extra longitudinal roof bar, which is only specified by NASA in their rules.
The other giveaway is the door bar fitted to the outside surface of the A and B pillar bars, again autograss spec.
Although compared to some of the so-called rollcages I have seen in autograss cars made out of box section that looks like quite a well made one.

FIA approved my arse!

Yep FIA my harris.

Old homemade grass track shite, i used to work on my in laws class 1, that had a similar cage, the roff was cut off mid pillar and rewelded.
