CA3 is Minisports attept at a compromise between the 276 and the 286.

i had one in a 1380 and tbh i think the std cam was better.

I'm sure you know that in rallying there is a 1.7 multiplier on turbo/supercharged cars, so not sure what class tha'll put you in.

Don't know about cost, but put aside at least 2k, as that's a minimum to build a turbo motor (998 or 1275) from scratch.

wil_h's right, i was aiming to compete with the 1600 nova's, corsa etc with my 1380 (to stay in the 1300cc class the max overbore allowed is +0.060" (1330cc)).

But last year the class's changed and introduced a 1400cc class, so now i fall into that, which is a bit of a relief really.

a blown 998 will be classed as a 1700cc (ish) so best check the current blue book to see what class that will be in. (should think 1800 or 2000 class...:( )

imo just stick a NA 1380 in there instead.
