just a quick one, whats the difference between a verto clutch slave cylinder and a pre-verto clutch slave cylinder and which ones better??

i think the verto slave cylinder has a circlip in the end to stop the piston pushing out, where as the non verto has the two big nuts to stop over travel of the clutch arm so does not need the circlip.

The Verto slave is shorter. They are kind of interchangable, but you are better getting the correct one.

The non verto cylinder definately has the spring and circlip fitted. The circlip is to stop you being able to push the piston out of the bore hence losing fluid and damaging the seal. The spring is fitted with a nylon cup that retains the seal in the correct place and keeps it square to the piston.
