I am watching a gear box on ebay and it doesnt say whether its A+ or A series and doesnt know how to tell the difference.

the size of the idler support, thats about it visually i think.

What about the lines in the teeth 1 or 2 on A+ (looks like something has been mangled up in there) A don't have them

well if its a rod change with stright cut gears how would you tell from pics?
