I am watching a gear box on ebay and it doesnt say whether its A+ or A series and doesnt know how to tell the difference.

Is there an easy way of distinguishing between them both?

Thanks

Dan

the size of the idler support, thats about it visually i think.
unless its got the old magic wand/remote cchange assemble as a give away.

the angle of the helical gears is meant to be slightly different, but i can imagine its a hard one to spot off an ebay pic.

What about the lines in the teeth 1 or 2 on A+ (looks like something has been mangled up in there) A don't have them
