Live @ Worksop, Work @ Rotherham

I've stripped my turbo tonight, it's one i bought very cheap as it was smoking like dot cotton and had massive movement in the shaft.

This is a photo of one of the bearings? it's badly scored on both the inside and the outside. (not a good photo)

Second one is of the shaft, there doesn't seem to be much wear were the bearing run.

The good thing is i've learnt quite a bit in stripping this one, so hopefully when i use the rebuild kit from Iain on the one i intend to use i'll have a better chance of getting it right.

defo knackered, put it back together and use it as an exchange unit*smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
