Not a great pic but you get the idea.......

The coil pack is mounted on an aluminium plate over the clutch housing, and the eids is up on the bulkhead to the left, also on aluminium

also i got a small pulley i needed because it was fouling my head, ended up finding one from an old 850cc engine if anyone ever needs to get one. Think it will make cooling better too but i might lose power from it

you want to put some aluminium around the module, it needs a heat sink otherwise it could overheat and die

aparently

Wont that like stop the air flowing to it as much?

Would it be better if i spacered it out from the bulkhead a bit to let air behind it? What about if i stick a heatsink on it?

A flat piece of aluminium on the back will act as a heat sink. I have mine just like yours is and it has been fine, but overheating failures are a known problem with the EDIS so it is better to make the effort if you want it to last.

Im hopefully not too far behind you guys now, ive built the Megasquirt, and got everything bar the crank sensor bracket to do the install.

Ive opted for one of these:

i know its cheating, but im rubbish with anything more complex than a 3 pin plug, plus at 70 canadian dollars it was nice and cheap :)
