i've just fitted a pressure gauge inline after my regulator because im havin some leaning off problems, and its fluctuaing, i;e its bouncing all the time, it does steady on normal un pressurised feed but as soon as you blow in to the regulator press feed it starts bouncing badly and you can hear the reg ticking and also feel the pressure fluctuate with your mouth, it kinda push and pulls when its doing it, any one else had this problem?, i've stripped the reg and its perfect, plus its only a year old, the fuel pump is a month old and the filter is new,

I'd try another regulator.

A customers of mine had a very similar problem and a new reg sorted it... I did investigate the old reg though.

yes its ticking with it, like a vibration, also you can feel it if you put your tongue on the boost feed, it kinda pushes and sucks, if you know what i mean, like you can feel the diagphram moving up and down

It could be the diagphram in the reg is stretched. You can get a replacement diagphram for about £8.

This happened to mine when i fitted a fuel pump from a big Jag. The pump was to high a pressure and stretched the diaphram in the reg so the fuel pressure was fluctuating. Changed reg and put standard Metty pump on, problem sorted.
