I had intended fitting 13" wheels to my turbo project but have been reading recently about handling problems when this size of wheel is used. I have the standard metro vented discs etc fitted---will 12" wheels fit with these or does it have to 13". Are the handling problems so bad with the bigger size?? |

i had 13*6's on my mini and it handles miles beter than my mini on 12's. these had an offset sich that the wheel was very close to the body, would probably fit under standard plastic arches.
turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

stock suspension definately works best on 5-5.5" 10" wheels. I suspect it's because these are a lot more 'forgiving'.

ive found 13 's to be great especialy on the traction front and in the damp wet british weather, on 10's mine use light up to easialy thus no forward traction, bit embarrasing at the lights when racing milk floats!!!!!!! always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |
