searched for ages now and cant find it! keep getting loads of other topics about intercoolers :(

can anyone tell me whats the outlet size of the standard plenum? I dont have mine yet and im just planning the piping

also does anyone know the size of the outlet on an RS intercooler?

how sad is this..... i actually have two rs intercoolers and a plenum on my desk......

my verniers however are downstairs..... (*cue sound of elephant running up and down stairs*)

Right
plenum is 46mm pipe, step is 48mm

intercooler is 52mm (2" actually) step is 54mm

hope that helps..... (re, your other post about the adapters, if you need an adapter mate up with a 2" inlet for the plenum, let me know, can be done no probs.)

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!

would 50mm pipe fit on the intercooler or is that really unprofessional? do you need a step up for the extra 2mm?

would probably stretch fine, i would have thought the problem comes when trying to get 50mm pipe clamp down tighly on the outlet to the turbo and the plenum...

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!

I just looked and last time i ordered for my last engine i ordered 48mm pipe so ill get that for the turbo

Im going to run it between my turbo and standard plenum for now.

I think it should work ok and reach.

It says 102 legs, i think thats from after the join, the length of the pipe do you know if thats right?

If its ok then, when i get some more money together ill buy from you a 50mm plenum outlet pipe and ill plumb in my rs intercooler. I hav ea dump valve T piece too thats also 50mm.
