I am sure I have read that you can fit the T2 turbo to the mg metro manifold and modify the manifold so you do not have to have a bulkhead box, question is what do you have to do to it?

Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

1) Cut off studs.
2) linish manifold face flat
3) Purchase adaptor plate off Jimster
4) Wait 3 months for him to get round to posting it
5) Upon arrival, place on manifold in orientation shown in above pics
6) Mark out holes for the T2 bolt pattern on the manifold
7) Drill and tap the holes M8
8) Purchase Stainless M8 Studding, a pack of M8 stainless nuts and washers from Screwfix.com
9) Wind studding into manifold
10) cut off studding to appropriate length
11) wind some nuts down the studs and hold the plate securely to the manifold
12) Port the plate and manifold to promote decent flow into the small T2 opening. Remove plate and port 'back' the port dividers if needed.
13) Trial fit turbo.
14) If it's off the R5GT, you need to remove two studs and open the holes out to M8 clearance holes (9mm). You also need to make room for a nut on the tighter corner (this'll become obvious).
15) mount actuator, downpipe, water, plumbing, etc....

Bulkhead box is needed - OR you can re-drill your engine mounts 2" more forwards. LOL
