does anyone have any guesses as to how much it costs to build a 998 turbo? as im a looking at putting one of these into my new project car, a rolling shell.

at the mo it has a 1275 engine in it but i prefer the revvyness of the 998 so the 1275 is being ditched.

most are turbo'ing 998's to get around hillclimbing regs, for a road point of veiw id just stck with 1275 as its more for less (if youve already got a 1275 base engine)

Big costs. try living in a country where their seems to be very few turbo minis and no other known turbo 998's. This site is my only help

An old message but I'll add my 2 bits.

I have $800 into a haltech stand alone ECU, and around $300 for materials to make the header and intake. So far I am using the stock 998 with the soon to be upgraded clutch.

So far I have put down 82 wheel HP. Its making much more power now but the clutch will no longer hold.
