Any one any idea of the torque settings for the diaphragm to taper boss and diaphragm to flywheels bolts of the Verto clutch???

I have tightened the diaphragm to boss bolts to 50lbft and used a little loctite retainer. The diaphragm to flywheel bolts i have tightened to 40lbft.

I cant find any refference to these as the haynes book says replace the lot.

Any help apreciated

EDIT: Just found in the rover workshop manual the diaphragm to flywheel bolts are to be done up to 25NM. Hell thats not much, but easily rectified.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

that figure sounds about right

any more torque and they are on the boarder line to strip the threads.

the stud lock will do its job!
