As thay are a brand new piston (you may even be the first to own a set) it's impossible to say. But Mega pistons are well made and should therefore be thick enough to allow for the removal of sme material.

3cc isn't much either. But it really will be suck it and see.

Good question.

all I can say is that I run mine at 8.3:1 and I get boost around 4k with a T2 and T3

yeah thats a good point!on the head side!

well they said they recommend 8.25.1cr n to gain that i need 3cc dished pistons!

im using a 12g295 head (he didnt mention what the chamber size was,i forgot to ask), 4x4cosworth intercooler, i dont really have a power target, its more on the reliable side im after!

do you think its possible to gain pluss 100 and still be reliable?

cam choice is a n/a mg cam,

oh and yeah optimax, as its the closest station!!!

oh thanks by the way!!!

To get that CR with flat tops you're going to need chambers around 33cc (assuming +60 bore).

I don't know how big thw 295 cjhambers will go, but I suspect that this is why Simon is suggesting a 3cc piston dish.

We may beat you to that pete, with any luck it will be on the rollers next week with the T3. The results of that should tell us where to go.

If there boost isnt kicking in til 4k, isnt that because there using a t3, will that be alot lower or just alittle lower with the t2 i plan to use?

when would you expect the power of the t2 to come in?

i cant wait for the mag it will be a great help and read!!!!!

thanks martin

Near Daventry, midlands

I think their T2 kicked in at the same point that the T3 kicked in, around 4K. Its detailed in one of the posts above.

Looking forward to see the results Wil and Ben, good luck.

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie
