for any one that has converted to this type of alternator how did you fit it, i have put it up against my engine and the pulley is way off, if i want it to fit i will have to cut some of the alternator, can any one help eg pictures big help to get me on my way cheers

the water pump is untouched
i hacksawed and filed the alternator until it was suitable and then put an m8 into it as it is already threaded

for the bottom i used a dihatsu tensioner and fitted it to the timing chain cover, the bottom screw on the block. The fixed end is on the block, the sliding end on the alternator

The only other ive seen is jims, and his is done another way
