yes!, i was out a gain at york yesterday, and after a few runs to try sort out my launch,[either too little revs ,or too many ] i finally got it just right and we were off like a goodun, 2nd gear launch ,swiftly into 3rd and onto top ,and i'm flying ,no idea who was in the other lane as they were left for dead, engine speeds were higher than previous runs so indicating a +125mph terminal,
on return to the pits i find no terminal speed and a very suspect et on the ticket,[ 5.76secs] apparently triggered by debris blowing across the strip, Bugger !!!!.
i still had the timing up to the 1/8th and this showed i was correct in my seat of the pants summary as i made the 1/8 quicker than aver before, double bugger , as on the next run i upped the power just to make sure i ran the long awaited 10 only to run out of gas at 1/3 track, tripple bugger,lol.
its kind of annoying to chat to the big yank tank drivers who are running mid 10s on slower terminals , but are getting there steads hooked up good and proper,
oh well roll on next outing.

robbed 3 times in one day, how unlucky are you?
was gonna go york this weekend but been to busy.
how many runs do you get at york on average on the rwyb?

oh yeah sounds like that was a good run even if you did get a dodgey timing, well done

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

could have had 10 runs if i wanted. had 6,
