Hi all,

my engine has a slight stammer/splutter on light to moderate accell from about 2200o 2500, i am yet to double check the oil but i believe it to be ok, so i thought maybe the spring is a little week, i am running a std spring with a few engine mods and a BAH needle, good cam etc etc.

any thoughts?????

In my NA minis I tend to use a thinner oul than I do in the Turbo, so might be worth trying something thicker like gearbox oil.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I will be running up to 15psi, but normally about 10 to 12

Going from 20/50 oil to 90W gearbox oil made mine alot smoother, i would certainly give this a go as already suggested. I still use the standard spring so maybe the stronger one avonbar sells would improve it more as its not quite 100% hesitant free when coming on boost.

if not

i dont think it will help at all cause the mixtures and everything else is fine and the carb is in good nic,

ill try the oil in the pot and see how i go
