Hi folks - I spent the weekend trying to fit my new Metro callipers. THe brake line detatched from the old Mini calliper ok but when I tried to unfasten the nut where it enters the inner wing it just spins(!). I managed to see the problem - the copper brake line goes into an O above the union, with a hollow bolt going through the O and then into a hexi nut, then thru the inner wing. Problem is that the inner hexi-nut is spinning, and has now unscrewed the bolt that goes thru the O ring :( Does this make any sense to you??? I'm starting to think that I'm gonna have to remove the engine just to get to the inner wing where the brake line comes i nso that I can hold the inner hexi-nut still so that I can unscrew the brake line!!! Any helpful pointers/advice/telephone numbers for the Samaritans? Jim
