I got mine bored and honed +20 for £30 at a local engineering firm near me, in portsmouth tho so unfortunatly a bit far from you! But i guess it shows that you dont always have to pay the earth!

a few places charge more for 73.5 than a +.020" as they have to bore away more material.

73.5 is 1380/ +0.60 right?

no! + 0.060" is 1330cc

well morspeed have had my engine since february and im still waiting for it back!!

i was getting the block bored +20, new pistons fitted to the rods and dished and the crank ground.

He emailed me in april to let me know the block was cracked and the crank was beyond it max wear and he was getting moe turbo blocks the week after.

im still waiting, but ive broke my ankle now so cant get to my workshop for a while so im not in a rush for it anymore but just so you know it could be there a while.

there has been lots of comments about Morspeeds lead times and breaking the promises of these times. I personaly wouldn't know though, its all hear say

I had to wait a while for my head at morspeed but the work is spot on and well worth it!

well as i said up untill last week i was getting a little impatient as 4 months is a hefty time to wait but now im out the mini rebuilding game for a while i dont mind that much aslong as the quality of the end product is good.
