got bored over the bank holiday and set about making up a new dash for me car. i've had all the gauges and stuff for a while now in a box in the garage, shit weather meant we couldn't respray keans car outside so i had feck all better to do.

what you reckon to it? its just some 6mm mdf covered in black vinyl. got oil pressure, boost, revs, temp and volts for the gauges. My shift light is up on top of the dash, fired off the megajolt. stereo's finally somewhere i can reach it. i moved my bleed valve down next to the fog light switch and the fuel gauge is down to the bottom right, out of the way cos its a 2" smiths type. still need to wire that in tomorrow, big thanks to benross for the voltage regulator needed to make it work. then i've got to find some way of getting an M10x1.25 temp sender fitted so the temp gauge works properly.

even managed to fit little 5mm LED's in chrome holders for the idiot lights and indicator tell tales to keep mr MOT man happy :)

I'm dead chuffed personally, first bit of wiring i've ever done thats worked properly *happy*

dont think my camera likes the lights on the gauges though..lol

Love the dials, very sexy! I bought one of those steering wheels the other week from the autojumble at the norfolk mini show. Its perfect and complete with the boss and everything. Dont have a clue what is was originally off though. Only cost me a nugget!
