At one time in the 80's Janspeed made a kit as you describe, yes.

can somebody please explain the piont of the flexi on the manifold please? surely all of this will move together with the engine as one unit so no need for a flexi?

The bellows/flexi joint is to allow the expansion/contraction of the manifold from hot to cold to help reduce chances of cracking. |
