Ok, just to recap!

I have plumbed in the uprated dump valve between the side of the plenum and the manifold (Removing the old parts and blocking the necessary holes in the plenum), the boost control valve between actuator and turbo, and the boost gauge from the manifold.

When the engine is idling what should the boost be at? 4 or 7psi?
Should i close the control valve fully, start the engine and slowly open it until i get the reading I need?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Boost should be 0 at idle, infact it should so approx -25/-30 at idle (inches of mercury i think the measurement is?)

it will only come on boost under load.

Have the bleed valve closed to start with then VERY slowly open it up and keep going for a upto 3rd gear run to see what boost its running

you only need to open the bleed valve a tiny bit to increase boost so start off with a tiny turn like a eighth or no more than a quarter of a turn untill you get used to it.
i went for the incar adjuster so you can adjust it while its boosting *smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
