Hi,

I dont have the ECU of my 1275 MG Turbo, but i find one from another 1275 MG Turbo, will it work in my engine?

Mine is from 1984 and the ECU is from a 1987 one.

The ECU's from recent cars only work in the car it came

will this happen too in the 1275MG Turbo?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

You dont need the ecu, ditch it and fit a bleed valve. This has been covered in the "how to's"

Much better and neater too.

I suspect the later ECU's didn't have the output for the boost gauge on the dash... The rest should work the same however....
