completely OT - burning music cd's

Hi guys, going on a road trip through europe soon, and would like to take a few cd's with.

problem is, most of my mixs are about 2 hours long, and i dont know how to burn them onto cd.

can you get cds that are more than 80mins long?
or is there a way to compress them and still have the car cd player read them?
