Me and a couple of friends are going to the UK this summer. We were thinking of getting a track day, but we have no car. Does any of you have any experience with such driving days at a track. Something along these lines:

Back in 2001 i was working for a company in my field and had a company car a nice laguna tdi on a T/99 the car was 18months old at the time and had over 120k on it

i had been off a week after having an op on my right eye in order to remove a bit of metal, the friday i was lazing around patch on eye thinking about what i would be doing with the following week off when i get a call to tell me i had been made redundant and i had to bring the car in "straight away"
obviously i told them to shove it as i needed to take advice and they cant lay me off while i was on booked leave

anyway there was a trackday on the sat at combe so me my partner at the time and my friend russ and his mate went to combe and i trackday'd my company car

i did have a video of it from in the laguna but my friend simon had it so doubt if i will get it again

www.bookatrack.com do caterham hire for £494-720 depending on track so not cheap. My man who services the burglar alarm on my house did one and split the cost with his mates and loved it!
