Just wondered what every one else runs as a Minumum setting, or is your boost set and that's it.

As just trying to see what traction people get as mine is about 10 Psi and it still spins off the line.

Never mind minimum boost whats your maximum boost.

10psi low bost , all depends how you feed the clutch in and what gear ratio`s u use .....

you been practicing then matt?????

ricko, the question as about Minumum boost nothing to do with high!

No Mark not been praticing no point, it would still be _hit LOL, just thinking as every 1/4 and 0-60 hasn't been good grip as some point, so just wondered what setting every one else has as every one else seems to get good times:)

my low boost is around 7 psi

matt from the vid`s i`ve seen of yours and a coombe a couple of years ago , you need to sort your susp bushes out , but saying that once you hit high boost with the sort of torque levels you`ve got its going to be hard not break traction .

Yes i see your meaning mate , i have now got some harder bushes in and it did help the torque steer a little.

mine is still set at the 4-4.5psi, just finished running the engine in, desperatly needs to go on the RR.

i have a problem on boost, it feels like a miss fire but it isnt, power just dies, sometimes comes back. i think its the set up of the carb, or ppossibly the pressure reg or pump..

10 psi basic and 16 psi via a solenoid. Last summer the solenoid stayed on all the time. Planning to try even higher boost.

10 is my minimum boost leval, at least double that for my maximum...

looks like 10 psi seems to be a good and well used setting. for most moded Minis. Cheers people.

sp giallofly, i know you have an LSD but how is the grip when pulling away and low boost for you then?

In my opinion, the lsd does not do much for me off the line, but it comes into it's own on the track. I still get lots of wheel spin when I pull away even on slicks.

Sorry to be so blunt with my question matt, but I would really like to know how much boost you run to make over 200bhp.
