Bare shell for sale

I've finally faced up to the fact that i aint got the skill/money/patience etc to get this bare shell sorted to reshell my car so its up for sale.

It had been started to be deseamed when i got it, i've plated the inside of the seams and welded up the outside and started smoothing em with filler. needs a bit more sanding halfway down the car where the panel bulges out on the rear 1/4's.

other than that there's no front end on it or rear valance. Its a twin bolt front subby, i managed to source a straight one that had been seam welded so thats incuded aswell.

there's no rust anywhere bar a bit of surface on the o/s A post where it had been left in bare metal after the deseaming. i'll sort that out and zinc prime it before it goes though.

Ideal if someone wants to build a track car, or even for a re-shell.

Only looking for around £120 which is what i paid for it as i need it gone ASAP.

will try and sort out some better pics on sunday if i get chance.

i think i worked it out as being a 69-71 shell. so if it had a V5 then it would most definately be exempt.

Looks like the scuttle has been replaced at some point though so there's no chassis number on it anymore...

Not sure they had a chassis number in the scuttle being that old' think they only put it on the ally plate.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.

Yep, I am fairly sure they only had the stamped in numbers after 1984 when they changed over from the old chassis number to a VIN number.

I'd snap it up if i were still in the UK...

aaah in that case, there was a plate on the n/s inner wing with a code that started FE######. the plates long gone, but i have the number written down on my garage wall if its any use?

same here, if it were up for sale when i get a house in a few months i'd take it immediatly. Good luck with the sale bud.

ar, it was the same when i saw it for sale. It was the 'no rust' part that attracted me. but typically now i need the room it wont sell except for 5 quid on egay.

anyone who gets this has a great start

Again im intrested, as im still looking for a shell, and wud pay asking price as its obviously worth it, but same old prob, which is collection, im guessing your miles from cornwall?
